Kurakkan ( Finger Millet /Ragi) String Hoppers
Kurakkan (Finger Millet/ Ragi) String hoppers
Ingredients
1 Cup Kurakkan Flour
1 Cup Rice flour
Salt
Hot Water (around 90c)
Method
Add both flours and salt in to a mixing bowl.
Add enough hot water to mix. (It has to be smooth but not runny)
Mix several minutes.
Next fill the string hopper maker.
Use moulds press the mix. (Watch Video)
Steam 2-3 min and press the string hoppers to see they are cooked.
