Kurakkan (Finger Millet/ Ragi) String hoppers
- 1 Cup Kurakkan Flour
- 1 Cup Rice flour
- Hot Water (around 90c)
- Add both flours and salt in to a mixing bowl.
- Add enough hot water to mix. (It has to be smooth but not runny)
- Mix several minutes.
- Next fill the string hopper maker.
- Use moulds press the mix. (Watch Video)
- Steam 2-3 min and press the string hoppers to see they are cooked.
- Transfer to a plate and enjoy with a curry.
