Ham, Onion and Cheese Bread Rolls



Ham Onion and Cheese Bread Rolls.


Ingredients


  • 560g Bread flour
  • 300ml water
  • 2 Eggs
  • 25g Sugar
  • 60g Butter
  • 9g Yeast
  • 5g Salt

For the filling

  • 11/2 cups of chopped spring onions
  • cheese slices
  • Shaved ham

Method

  1. Add the flour, yeast,sugar,eggs,salt and water  little by little and knead about 5 min until it becomes a smooth dough.
  2. Add Butter and knead another 15 min.
  3. Put the prepared dough in a greased bowl and leave in a warm place until doubles in size.
  4. Add flour on to the bench. Put the dough and cut into equal size pieces.
  5. Roll each piece to an oval shape.
  6. Put ham cheese and spring onions and seal as shown in the video.
  7. Leave to prove and cut the top across brush the tops with eggs and bake on 180c about 20-30 min.
  8. Cool on wire racks.

Dark Chocolate Brownies



Dark Chocolate Brownies

Ingredients


  • 150g Butter
  • 3 Eggs
  • 100g Sugar
  • 150g Dark Chocolate
  • 150g Plain flour
  • 50g Silvered or flaked Almonds
  •  20g Cocoa Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/4 Tsp Bicarbonate of Soda

Method

  1. Melt the chocolate in a bowl on simmering water & leave to cool down.
  2. Add butter and sugar and mix until pale in colour.
  3. Mix eggs one by one until creamy.
  4. Mix cocoa , baking powder ,Baking  soda and plain flour on a low speed about one minute.
  5. Add melted chocolate and mix well.
  6. Grease a tray and leave baking paper to over hang..
  7. Put the mix in and sprinkle almonds on top. 
  8. Bake on 175c about 20-30 min or until a skewer inserted comes out clean.
  9. Cool on wire rack completely before cutting.

Yogurt Scones


Don't worry about using a machine to mix scones. It works well.

Yoghurt Scones (Simple Baking)

Ingredients


  • 270g Self-raising flour
  • 60g Butter
  • 1Tsp Baking powder
  • Drop Of vanilla
  • 1/2 cup Greek style yoghurt or curd
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/4 Tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 1 Tblsp Sugar

Method

  1. Add all the ingredients except milk.
  2. Use your paddle attachment to mix.
  3. preheat oven to 180c.
  4. Mix the ingredients and add a bit of milk to combine. Leave the rest to brush the tops of the scones.
  5. Put the mix on the bench. Roll to a rectangle and cut in to squares.
  6. Brush with milk.
  7. bake for 15-20 min.
  8. Can freeze for 6 months.

Cream Puffs (Really Easy Recipe)

Ingredients


  • 70g Plain flour
  • 65g Butter
  • 2 g Salt (or less to your taste)
  • 3g Sugar
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 125ml water

For the filling

  • 1/2 cup thickened cream
  • 2-3 Tblsp sugar

Method


  1. Add water, salt, sugar, butter in to a pot  and melt on the stove.
  2. Add flour and mix slowly till becomes a paste.
  3. Cook one min.
  4. Stir to cool down about 30 sec.
  5. Add eggs one by one and mix well until smooth.
  6. Fill in to a piping bag with a star  nozzle or use 2 spoons to put on to the baking sheet.
  7. Bake on 165c about 15-20 min or until golden brown.
  8. Cool on wire racks.
  9. Whip cream to a soft peak & fill a piping bag.
  10. Inject cream in to the puff. 
  11. can freeze them for future use too.

Pineapple Buns


Pineapple Buns (Simple Baking)

Ingredients (bun):


  • 200g Bread Flour
  • 50g Plain flour
  • 4g yeast
  • 3g salt
  • 25g eggs
  • 90ml of full cream milk
  • 60ml of thickened cream
  • 25g butter

Ingredients (topping dough):

  • 95g plain flour
  • 45 butter
  • 50 sugar
  • 35g eggs 
  • Pinch of salt

Method (topping dough):

  • Using a dough hook on a standard mixer, add the butter, plain flour, sugar, salt and eggs. Mix this on a medium speed until the dough is combined and smooth to touch. 
  • Once done, cover it with glad wrap and place it the fridge until you are ready to use it.

Method (bun):

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Into the mixing bowl, add the flour, sugar, yeast, eggs, and cream. Mix this on a medium speed for about a minute, add the salt, then gradually add the milk until the dough becomes smooth and combined (approx 5mins). Then add the butter and mix it on a low speed for about 10mins. 
  • Once the dough is done, leave it cover in a warm area until the dough has doubled in size.
  • When both dough are ready (leave the dough from the fridge out for a while), flour the bench place the dough for the bun on the bench and press it down, keep adding flour until it isn't sticky to touch. Then divide the dough into six equal parts. 
  • Using a rolling pin, roll out the pieces of dough into small circles, then add a spoonful of your pineapple mix, then seal both end so the mixture doesn't pop out. Roll each bun around until it becomes round and even, and place it on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Place it in a warm area until it doubles in size. 
  • Using the dough from the fridge, using the exact method as before, cut it in to 6 pieces and roll it into circles the size of your buns. Then brush the tops of the buns with eggs and place the circles on top and make a pattern of your choice. Then place it in the oven for 20-30mins.
  • Best served warm.

Bubble Pizza



Please make sure to squeeze excess water out from fresh veggies before using.

Bubble Pizza

Ingredients


  • 450g Bread Flour
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 Tblsp Sugar
  • 7g Yeast
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 1/2 Tsp Baking powder
  • 270ml warm water
For the filling use meat ,cheese or cooked veggies as you wish.

Method

  1. Add the bread flour, yeast, sugar, salt,baking powder, olive oil and start adding water little by little until it becomes a smooth dough and leave in a greased bowl in a warm place until doubles in size.
  2. Add flour on to the bench and put the dough on to the bench. Cut in to 2 equal parts. Roll one part for the base and  roll other part to a rectangle and cut in to 16.
  3. Roll each small piece to a circle or a rectangle and then fill with anything you like and leave them around the edges of the pizza.
  4. prick the base and leave to prove half an hour.
  5. Next do the filling. Make sure to take excess water out from veggies if you are using fresh vegetables.
  6. Sprinkle cheese and egg wash the bubbles and sprinkle some sesame seeds.
  7. Bake on 180c about 20-25 min.
  8. Cool on wire rack before cutting.

Coconut ,Pineapple & Banana, Cake


Coconut, Pineapple and Banana Cake (Simple Baking)

Ingredients


  • 1 Banana
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 Tsp Bicarbonate of soda
  • 1 Can Crushed Pineapple
  • 55g desiccated coconut
  • 200g Brown sugar
  • 75g Self raising flour
  • 150g Plain Flour
  • 180ml Butter (Melted)

Method

  •  Preheat the oven to 180c and grease 9x9 inch baking tray.
  • Add eggs & sugar and mix about a minute.
  • While mixing add banana, cinnamon & coconut.
  • After add pineapple. (lightly squeeze the pineapple to take liquid out)
  • Next add flour and melted butter and mix about a min.
  • Transfer to the prepared tray and bake on 180c about 40-45 min.
  • Cool on wire rack.
  • Serve with cream and ice cream. (Even nice with warm custard)

Nutella Bracelets (Simple Baking)

Ingredients


  • 250g of Bread Flour
  • 1 Egg
  • 40g Sugar
  • 110ml of Milk
  • 4g Yeast
  • Salt
  • 25g of Butter
  • Nutella


Method


  1. - Add the Bread Flour, 1 egg and sugar into the mixing bowl and mix for 1 minute.
  2. - Next, add the salt and continue adding milk and butter till it becomes a smooth dough.
  3. - Move the dough on to the bench and cut into equal size pieces.
  4. - Roll the dough into rectangular shape.
  5. - Add a spoon full of Nutella mix and roll the dough securing the edges tightly.
  6. - Use  a Sharp knife and cut strips at the end of the dough. Connect the ends of the dough to form a circular shape. Leave it on baking sheets to proof.
  7. - When the Nutella bracelets are ready, brush the tops with eggs and bake it at 180 about 15-20 minutes.

Ingredients


  • 300g Bread flour
  • 125ml Water
  • 6g Yeast
  • 25g Butter
  • 15g Sugar
  • 2g Salt

Method

  • Add flour, sugar,yeast and salt in to a mixing bowl and mix well. Next add water little by little and knead for 5 min.
  • Add butter and keep on kneading another 10 more min and leave in a warm place until doubles in size.
  • Take the dough out and cut in to two or four and roll as directed in the video.
  • Leave in a warm place to double in size again.
  • Brush the tops with eggs and bake on 180c about 15-20 min or until golden brown.
  • Cool on wire racks and serve with a filling to your taste.

Chocolate Chiffon Cake (Simple Baking)

Ingredients


  • 5 Eggs
  • 80g Plain flour
  • 1 g Baking Soda
  • 1 g Baking powder
  • 80g Sugar
  • 20g Sugar
  • Pinch ofSalt
  • Drop of vinegar
  • 25g Cocoa powder
  • 100ml boiling water
  • 40ml Oil

Method

  1. Add cocoa in to boiling water and mix well.
  2. In to the dissolved cocoa add, 20g sugar,baking soda,oil & Salt And mix well.
  3. Add egg whites in to a mixing bowl with 80g sugar , drop of vinegar and whisk to the soft peak.
  4. Add baking powder to the plain flour.
  5. Add flour to the cocoa mix.
  6. Mix well.
  7. Slowly add the cocoa and flour mix to the egg whites and swirl around. 
  8. Pour the mix in to the prepared baking tray.
  9. Bake on 150c until a skiwer goes through comes out clean. (About 30-40 min.)

Ingredients


  • 175g Plain flour
  • 80g Icing sugar
  • 55g Butter
  • Drop of vanilla
  • 40g Milk
  • 1/4 tsp Bi carb
  • 3 Tblsp Sugar

Method

  1. Add All the ingredients in to a mixing bowl and mix well.
  2. Next add flour and make a rectangle with a thickness to 1-2 cm.
  3. Cut in to equal size squares.
  4. Sprinkle sugar.
  5. Bake 160c about 20-30 min or until golden brown.
  6. Cool on wire racks.

Bread Sticks


Bread Sticks (Simple Baking)

Ingredients:

  • 300g bread flour
  • 5g yeast
  • 3g salt
  • 35g sugar
  • 30 softened butter
  • 190ml full cream milk

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Using a stand mixer with a dough hook, add the flour, yeast, sugar and the salt away from the yeast, mix this for about a minute. 
  • Then slowly incorporate the milk until the dough is combined and smooth, knead this for 5 minutes. Then add the butter and kneed for 10-15 minutes. Once the dough is done place it in a warm bowl and place it a warm place until the dough has doubled in size. 
  • Once doubled in size, flour the bench and place the dough onto the flour and using a rolling pin, roll it to a 2cm thick rectangle.  Then slice the rectangle into sticks and place in on a baking tray lined with baking paper, brush the tops with butter or egg yolk, then sprinkle the top with your liking and place it in the oven for about 15-20mins until golden brown.
  • Serve warm with a cup of tea.

  • 480g Bread Flour
  • 1 Egg
  • 225ml Warm Water
  • 60g Butter
  • 20g Sugar
  • 5g Salt
  • 6g Yeast

Method

  1. Add bread flour, egg, yeast, sugar, and salt and mix until well combined. Knead 5 min adding water little by little until becomes a smooth dough.  Later add butter and knead for another 10 min.
  2. After leave that in a warm place to double in size.
  3. Flour the bench and put the prepared dough on to the bench and cut the dough in to equal size portions.
  4. Roll it as in the video.
  5. Leave again to double in size.
  6. Brush the tops with eggs.
  7. Bake on 180c about 20-30 min.

Ingredients


  • 80g Butter
  • 165 g Plain Flour
  • 20g Milk Powder
  • 40g Milk
  • 90g Caster Sugar
  • Pinch of Salt

Method

  1. Add all the ingredients except flour to a pot.
  2. Bring it to boil and take it off.
  3. Add plain flour mix well.
  4. Wrap and put in fridge about an hour or roll to a rectangle.
  5. Cut in to strips.
  6. Bake on 165c about 20-30 min
  7. Cool on wire racks.

Vanilla Sponge Cupcakes


Vanilla Sponge Cup Cakes (Simple Baking)

Ingredients:

  •  4 large eggs
  • Vanilla essence
  • 40 ml full cream milk
  • 27g butter
  • 75g caster sugar
  • 100g self raising flour

Method:

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  • In a standard mixer, whisk together the eggs and the sugar until smooth, pale in colour and combined. Place the butter and milk in a small bowl and heat it in the microwave until melted.
  • When the egg mixture is place, place the mixture on a low speed and slowly incorporate the flour, when that's all combined add the milk and butter solution and let it mix for bout 2 minutes.
  • Place this into a muffin pan (makes bout 6-8) and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  • Best served cool with icing.
