Golden Syrup Dumplings

Ingredients

  • - 1 Cup of Self Raising Flour
  • - 1/3 Cup of Golden Syrup
  • - 1/4 Cup of Milk
  • - 20g of Butter

  • - 1/3 Cup of Golden Syrup 
  • - 1/4 Cup of Brown Sugar
  • - 15g of Butter
  • - 420ml of Water

Method

  1. Add the first four ingredients and make a thick batter. If you find it very hard add a bit more milk.
  2. Add the second four ingredients in to a pot.Bring to boil.
  3. Next take two spoons and slowly drop them in to the syrup. reduce heat.
  4. Cook on simmering about 25-30 min.
  5. Serve with the syrup , cream or icecream.
