Twisted Chocolate Chip bread Rolls
Ingredients
For the Main dough
200g Bread flour
50g plain flour
1 Egg
5g Yeast
50g sugar
3 g Salt
1 Tblsp Milk powder
25g Butter
25ml Milk
50 ml water
For the Filling
1 Tblsp Melted butter
1/2 Cup Chocolate chips
For the topping
50g Plain flour
25g Butter
1/2 Tsp Vanilla
1 Tsp Milk powder
1 Tblsp Crystallised sugar
Method
Add Bread flour, plain flour, egg, yeast, milk powder, sugar, salt and milk in to a mixing bowl and mix 2 min.
Next add water little by little and mix 3 more min.
Next add butter and knead 10 more min and leave the prepared dough in a warm place to double in size.
Mix chocolate with butter
Mix the topping ingredients too.
When the dough is ready cut the dough in to equal size portions.
Roll to a rectangular shape.
Put a spoon ful of the chocolate mix in the middle and roll.
Do several cuts across and make a circle.
Leave to prove.
Next egg wash sprinkle the topping and bake on 190c about 20-30 min.
