Coffee Cake
Ingredients
- - 125g of Self Raising Flour
- - 125g of Sugar
- - 2 Large Eggs
- - 125g of Butter
- - 2 Teaspoons of Coffee
- - 1/2 Teaspoon of Baking Powder
For the coffee icing
- 185 g Icing sugar
- 2 ttsp coffee.
- 85 g Butter
Method
- Prepare 20cm baking tray.
- Preheat oven to 180c.
- Add sugar & butter and cream it.
- Add eggs next and beat 2 min.
- Next add self raising flour and baking powder.
- Mix while adding coffee.
- Put in to baking tray and bake 180 about 30 min.
- Mix the icing and leave aside.
- Leave the cake on a wire rack to cool.
- Cut the cake in to two .
- Spread the icing
- Sprinkle icing sugar.
