Twisted Coconut Bread Sticks
Ingredients
- 375g Bread flour
- 60g Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 4g Salt
- 6g Yeast
- 50g Butter
- 125 ml Warm milk
Coconut filling
- 100g Desiccated coconut
- 40ml Milk
- 60g Icing sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 40g Melted Butter
Method
- Add melted butter , Icing sugar, milk and eggs and coconut. Mix well and leave aside.
- Knead flour,yeast, sugar,butter,salt,egg,and milk together.
- Knead for 20 min.
- When the dough is ready leave in a warm place to double in size.
- After, Roll the dough in to a rectangular shape and spread coconut evenly on 3/4 of the dough.
- Fold as directed in video and cut in to strips.
- Twist the strips and leave to double in size.
- Brush the tops with eggs and bake 20 min on 180c.
- Cool on a wire rack .
