Sesame Bread Rolls (Simple Baking)
- 600g Bread Flour
- 30g caster sugar
- 7g salt
- 8g yeast
- 60g butter
- 1/2tsp bread improver
- 300ml warm water
- Sesame seeds
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, Add the bread flour, yeast, sugar, and bread improver into a standard mixing bowl, mix on low speed for about a minute then while mixing add the salt, then add the water little by little, until it makes a smooth dough.
- Then while it's mixing on a high speed add the butter and mix for another 20min. Once it's done, place the dough in a bowl, cover it with a cloth and place in a warm area until it has doubled in size.
- Spread some flour on the bench and place the dough on the bench, then keep adding flour until the dough isn't sticky. Then cut the dough into 8 equal parts or as your desire. Then leave it on the bench for about 10mins without any work on the doughs.
- Shape the pieces of dough into round balls and place it in a greased 2inch tray, and leave it to double in size. Once done, brush the tops with egg and spread some sesame seeds on top and bake in the oven for 20-30 mins or until golden brown.
