Bacon and Egg Rolls (Simple Baking)
Ingredients
- 500g Bread flour
- 7g Yeast
- 1/4 tsp bread improver
- 60g Butter
- 20g Sugar
- 230ml water
- 3g Salt
- 1 Egg
For the filling
- Boiled Eggs
- Fried or raw bacon.
Method
- Make the bread dough by adding bread flour, yeast, egg, salt, sugar and water.
- Knead about 5-6 min.
- Next add butter and knead about 20 -25 min.
- Leave the dough in a greased bowl to double in size.
- When the the dough is ready punch down and cut in to equal size pieces.
- Roll to an oval shape.
- Put the bacon and half of the egg.
- Roll as directed.
- Leave to prove again.
- When ready brush the tops with eggs and cut across the buns several times and bake on 180c about 20-25 min. or until golden brown.
