Don't worry about using a machine to mix scones. It works well.
Yoghurt Scones (Simple Baking)
Ingredients
- 270g Self-raising flour
- 60g Butter
- 1Tsp Baking powder
- Drop Of vanilla
- 1/2 cup Greek style yoghurt or curd
- Pinch of salt
- 1/4 Tsp Baking Soda
- 1/4 cup Milk
- 1 Tblsp Sugar
Method
- Add all the ingredients except milk.
- Use your paddle attachment to mix.
- preheat oven to 180c.
- Mix the ingredients and add a bit of milk to combine. Leave the rest to brush the tops of the scones.
- Put the mix on the bench. Roll to a rectangle and cut in to squares.
- Brush with milk.
- bake for 15-20 min.
- Can freeze for 6 months.
