Masala Dosa
Ingredients
For Dosa
- 1 Cup of Urud Dhal
- 1 Cup rice flour
- 2 cups water
For the Filling
- Potatoes
- 2 Onions
- Salt
- 2 Red Chillies
- Cinnamon
- Pandan Leaves
- Chillie Powder
- Chillie Flakes
- Tumeric Powder
- Fennel Seeds
- Cumin Seeds
- Mustard Seeds
Method
- Mix all the ingredients for the dosa.
- Leave several hours or over night to rest.
- Boil potatoes.
- Add oil in to a pan fry curry leaves ,chillies and cinnamon.
- Add mustard,fennel and cumin seeds and let it splutter.
- Add onions cook several minutes
- Add the spices.
- Add the potatoes. Cook 5 min.
- Pour one spoon ful batter in to a pan and spread it. Then once cooked add a spoon ful of the potato mix on to the middle of the dosa and cover from the other end. Serve hot.
