Date & Walnut Roll.
Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup Dates
- 1/4Cup Walnuts
- 1/2 Cup Boiling water
- 30 g Butter
- 1 Cup Self raising flour
- 1 Egg
- 1/4 tsp Bicarb
- 1/2 cup of Brown sugar
Method
- Pour the boiling water in to a pan and add butter and sugar and boil it.
- Add dated and bicarb in to the pot.
- Leave it a minute.
- Add all the other ingredients to the pot.
- Spray the tin and put it in to the tin.
- Bake 180 about 50 -60 minute. Cool on wire racks
- Slice and serve with butter.
