These cookies are very soft and crunchy. If you take it out before browning its like a little cake. Can freeze this up to 3 months for later use. Ice it when you want,Add colour to give a appealing look.
Sponge Kisses
Ingredients
- 125 g butter
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Vanila
- 1 Egg
- 50 g Plain flour
- 35 g Self raising flour
- 100 g Corn flour
- 30g Custard Powder
For the filling
- 100g Icing sugar
- 60 g Butter
- 2 tblsp milk
Method
- Cream the butter and sugar
- Add Eggs and vanila
- Ceam it until its nice and creamy.
- Add flours & custard powder
- Mix it about a minute.
- Fill in to a piping bag with a fluted nozzle
- Pipe on to the baking sheet.
- Bake 180 about 10 min.
- Add butter and icing sugar add milk by little.
- Leave the biscuits on wire racks to cool.
- Once the kisses are cool add the icing and sandwich them.
