Plain Yogurt Rolls
Ingredients
For the first dough
- 125g Bread flour
- 50g Greek style yogurt
- 50ml cold milk
- 2g Instant yeast
For the main dough
- 300g Bread flour
- 7g Salt
- 100g Yogurt
- 50g Butter
- 7g Yeast
- 100g Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 100ml Milk
- First dough
Method
- Add the first dough,flour, yeast,egg,salt,sugar,yogurt and mix well. Add milk little by little until it becomes a smooth dough and add butter and knead 15-20 min.
- When the dough is ready put the dough in to a greased bowl and leave in a warm place until double in size.
- When ready take out and put on to a floured bench and cut in to equal size pieces.
- roll the dough in to a log and flatten it and roll to a circle.
- Leave to prove.
- When doubled in size brush the tops with eggs sprinkle sugar and bake on 180c about 20 min.
- Cool on a wire rack.
